Where we are at...

Nick and I started to talk seriously about adoption last December, almost a year ago. Then we went to our first training with the state in March. Finally in May we met with our adoption worker for the longest part of the process; paperwork, examination, and waiting. We now have arrived at the point where we have turned in ALL paperwork...WAHOOOOOO and our worker has written our home study (like a bio of us)...WAHOOOOO and now her supervisor gives the final ok. Hopefully by next week we will be looking at the book that contains bulletins of all children legally free for adoption. Really once that happens it could be anywhere from 1-8 months for us to have a child in our home...sigh, more waiting.
