Here's what we've got going on!
We met with Elizabeth, our awesome adoption worker last week. She came by the house to make sure we were getting it child-proofed...we're doing pretty good :). As the meeting came to a close she told us about what needs to happen next on our end, and on her end...
Our end:
-Employer Verification...ya know, to make sure we are going to have the resources to care for the child...
- Financial Statement...hmm...catching a theme??
- Health Insurance...ya know, make sure if I get in one of my routine accidents, we'll all be covered...including the child
- Money...yeah, gotta send off some checks. We are just a little bit away from having all we need!!!
Her end:
- write the home study. She said it would probably take her 3 weeks.
So here's what we've got...at the end of her writing the home study, if we've finished our end then we get to start submitting our home study for the privilege of being mom and dad to a wonderful, beautiful, precious child!! WAHOOOOOOOOOO
