time to hurry up and wait a bit more!

We are at a very nervous and exciting time in the journey. Last Monday we were allowed to look at the adoption book that includes all the children in the state of OR that are available to be adopted. We were then instructed to choose which children we wanted our home study to be submitted for. It was scary to say no to some and yes to others based on a picture and brief description! We ended up submitting for 10 children two of which were sibling groups. The youngest we submitted for was 9 months and the oldest was 6 years. Boys and girls, Hispanic, black, and white. Now, we wait! If any of these kid's case workers think we are a good match we are chosen as top 3 and a comittee will choose the family that they think could best parent the kids. Every Monday kids are added to the book so we also have opportunity to submit for those kids too! From here the process could take 1 month or 9! We are so blessed to have the guiding hand of our Lord in this journey. Keep us in your prayers!
