Blessed

A frequent comment that we tend to hear is "you are such great people, your child will be so blessed to have you as parents." There isn't anything wrong with this statement because we certainly hope that we bless our children's lives by parenting them! I do want to point our what another blogger said "We don't want to perpetuate the myth that adoption is somehow a noble calling, not to be undertaken by mere mortals."
